A key, individual contributor role being an advisor to the Primeflight Airport Operations leadership team with responsibility to make sure that all safety, financial, operational and administrative aspects are coordinated through the SVPs Office; Reporting directly to the SVP EMEA & APAC.
Working closely with the SVP, the Business Improvement Manager will implement existing strategy, coordinate special projects, deliver time management/flow of information to and from the SVPs Office; ensuring that the office achieves sharp gains in productivity and positive business impact.
The Business Improvement Manager will be a meticulous problem solver, confident to challenge and question business processes, identify inefficiencies and diagnose problems, to simplify and optimise the business.
Able to act as the SVPs “adjutant” enabling the advancement of company initiatives, projects and goals whilst utilising a high level of emotional intelligence; Attending meetings on the SVPs behalf and taking notes, leading and implementing various strategic planning processes across the organisation and providing Executive members with important company information to prepare them for upcoming meetings or presentations
Working with EMEA & APAC leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards business goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and secure operations in all aspects
- Delivery of EBITDA and free cash targets, securing a financially sustainable business
- Have an understanding of and adhere to Primeflight policies, governance and legal guidelines, ensuring they and given projects are in full compliance; to protect and maintain shareholder / brand value
- Travel to various locations, with the executive team, to assist, plan and coordinate customer, authority/regulator, APAC team meetings, events and conferences
- Design and deliver B2B marketing materials within projects, bids and customer engagements
- Act as a key liaison point between the SVPs Office and the wider leadership teams and other key parties, setting up meetings as appropriate and maintaining good communications
- Attend executive meetings to prepare material, take minutes and distribute actions as required
- To own and lead projects through all four project management phases (planning, build-up, implementation, and closeout)
- Always acting as a bridge between senior leadership and the project team members, who are actually responsible for the execution of the project
- Foster long-term, sustainable, trust-based relationships with customers, authorities, business partners, and relevant stakeholders, enhancing Primeflights presence and reputation.
- Analyse and anticipate problematic situations, providing solutions to ensure financial health, business sustainability and growth
- Carry out additional duties as may be reasonably requested by the SVP.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience plus a relevant professional qualification (such as PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma)
- Advanced project control system skills; including a high competency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task including expert and seamless time management skills
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Out-standing influencing skills and a proven ability to deal at all levels within a global business, combined with a sound knowledge of effective stakeholder management best practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to deputise for the SVP towards the Group CEO and other stakeholders as required
- Spoken and written fluency in English is mandatory; spoken and written fluency in another language (as a second language) would be an advantage
- Able to work across Europe & Asia (based in London, UK, travelling approx. 10% of time)
- Virtual and flexible working is a part of this role (all subject to business needs and company policy)
- Can obtain security clearance and qualify for an air-side security pass (no legal restrictions)
- Possesses a valid international drivers licence
