Business Development Representative - (Fluent Italian/German/ Spanish)

What You'll Do

Avalara is looking for multilingual Account Development Representatives (ADRs) to identify net new prospects and high value opportunities through outbound prospecting. The function of an ADR serves as an important part of our sales process. This position is designed to provide the opportunity for skill progression and promotion into a full-cycle sales role and will be the beginning of your career with a growing SaaS company.

This role is on a Hybrid work schedule and you will report into the Manager of Account Development.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Every day you will create quality opportunities and schedule meetings for our sales teams by using leads or accounts provided by marketing by telephone, email, and other means.
• You will become an expert on products and services and maintain relevant industry knowledge.
• You will maintain active engagement with leads through scheduled follow-up communications to increase customer interest in Avalara products.
• You will improve customer participation in webinars, certification events, and conferences.
• You will achieve monthly quotas of qualified and sales accepted opportunities.
• You will execute Account Based Marketing strategy to follow up with the right prospects at the right stage of the buying cycle
  
  

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• 2 years of outbound B2B experience would be beneficial.
• Strong desire to be in technology sales and determined to succeed.
• Fluency in a European language in addition to English.
• You are optimistic and fun. You know how to put in the work, and also understand that joy and positivity is a necessary ingredient to accomplishing your goals.
• You are curious. You know you can improve and embrace all opportunities to learn – from others, and from our own mistakes. You ask "why?" every day and always looking for ways to develop your skills.
• You take ownership. You don't make excuses and have a sense of accountability- for yourself, and others.
