As a Business Development Representative (BDR) - New Business, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for evangelizing our digital services and solutions to generate qualified leads for the international sales team. Reporting to the Head of New Business Development, you will leverage multiple channels—LinkedIn, email, events, inbound marketing, and social selling—to develop strong prospect relationships and create sales opportunities.
You will play a key role in executing and optimizing running campaigns while continuously refining outreach strategies. Your contribution will be crucial in helping the company achieve its growth objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with both the commercial and marketing teams to ensure alignment in all aspects of new business development across Youwe.

Your role
In The Wider Context, You Will
- Contribute to the development of the commercial and marketing elements of the organization, bringing insights and expertise to enhance new business strategies.
- You will take full ownership of developing and executing the marketing strategy, driving its' success, ensuring alignment with new business and sales objectives.
- Play an active role in new business lead generation, applying appropriate business models and evaluating short- and long-term strategic campaigns and objectives.
- Assist marketing and sales teams in identifying and capitalizing on key business development opportunities with partners.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to support and execute agreed new business and marketing initiatives, such as:
- Preparing for new business and sales events.
- Identifying, researching, prioritizing, and converting new client opportunities.
- Supporting the new business pipeline by identifying and prioritizing leads and ensuring ISQLs/SQLs are generated.
- Aligning with Sales Consultants to evaluate opportunities and focus on the most profitable prospects.
- Identifying growth opportunities within specific market sectors or regions.
- Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of new business development activities across EMEA, Benelux, and the Nordics.
- Work closely with the Marketing team, using client and market insights to develop campaigns that engage prospects, enhance market positioning, and generate profitable new business revenue.
- Capture and document learnings from new business activities and share insights with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine future initiatives.
- Monitor and refine lead processes alongside the CCO and Director of Corporate Marketing.
- Support the optimization of pipeline creation and the efficient handoff of leads to sales.
- Collaborate with Marketing to maximize pipeline creation and align with ongoing campaigns.
- Analyze data to identify trends in lead generation and communicate insights to the CCO and Corporate Marketing Director.
- Commercially astute with proven ability to generate new business in a B2B environment
- Up to 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, sponsorship, or marketing
- Strong organisation and planning skills; able to self-generate leads and work closely with international teams
- Confident using sales automation tools and CRM systems to manage leads
- Familiarity with B2B/B2C technology or SaaS sales (advantageous)
