During 25 years of activity in the IoT market, Teltonika has become one of the leading manufacturers in the world, with offices in 19 countries and with more than 2,300 employees worldwide. Teltonika has opened a new office in Salford, Greater Manchester, to serve our B2B clients, providing different IoT products from GPS tracking systems to networking solutions.

We are looking to recruit a talented Business Development Manager to join our UK business, working in our telematics division. This division develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in areas such as logistics, public transport, agriculture, car sharing, construction, aviation, insurance, shipping and more.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to market research, including identify target clients and their needs, finding opportunities for market growth.
  • Build relationships with new clients through a range of business development methodologies including outbound calls, social media, emailing, events, networking, presentations and so on.
  • Prepare commercial offers and oversee contracts to achieve assigned sales development goals.
  • Attend exhibitions/meetings in the UK to represent Teltonika Telematics products.
  • Provide regular reporting to the group sales function, ensuring continual updating of our internal CRM system.
  • Collaborate with technical support and R & D to ensure we achieve the best possible results for our clients.

What we expect of you:

  • A minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience or technical consulting experience achieved from ideally the telematics or asset tracking sector, or from one of the niche sectors we currently deploy telematics devices to (e.g. insurance, aviation, construction, utilities, public sector).
  • You will have strong connections within a relevant industry, allowing you to quickly develop potential interest, with the confidence that you have an exceptional product behind you.
  • Strong, professional communication and presentation skills, with excellent English language skills (both written and spoken).
  • A consultative approach to doing business, understanding the clients’ needs and pain points, with an ability to show how our solution will resolve both.
  • A willingness to travel nationally to meet prospective clients and close new business.
  • A commercial ambition that matches our engineering ambition. Our factory will develop over 1.2 million devices per month. We are ready for clients.
  • Full UK Driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position from 40 000 £ per annum, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
