Your activities

  • Responsible for identifying and delivering new business opportunities for WIKA's industrial product portfolio within the UK & Ireland.
  • Be responsible for exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify high-potential target accounts, and developing an attack plan.
  • Work with local sales and distribution partners to develop opportunities, and deliver new business sales as a direct result.
  • Independently develop and close significant new accounts, taking full ownership from prospecting to delivery.
  • Daily CRM maintenance of all activity, with an emphasis on data quality.
  • Margin management and price agreements (internal and external) where necessary.
  • Working remotely with regular travel across the UK and Ireland.
  • Work effectively with internal colleagues to achieve great outcomes for our customers.

Your profile

  • Have proven experience in business development or technical sales, and examples of success.
  • Experience in selling technical products within a related engineering sector.
  • Able to demonstrate a 'value-based' sales approach, clearly articulating how products deliver benefits to the customer.
  • A qualification in a technical or engineering discipline would be advantageous.
  • Experienced and disciplined CRM user, ideally with opportunity management expertise.
  • A full & valid UK driving license is essential.
  • A true “hunter”, with a strong motivation to connect with new customers. Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A customer first approach to how you operate.
  • Commercially astute, with a strong ability to reach agreement and solve problems.
  • Possess the ability to contribute positively to the team environment and outcomes.
