Start Date: We are hiring for multiple vacancies due to high growth. We can start successful candidates in November or January.
Full-time, Remote/Hybrid — We operate on a home-working model, but the candidate must be able to travel to London once per month within a 1.5-hour commute
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum basic salary, dependent on experience
- At this stage, the higher end of the salary banding will be considered for candidates with considerable experience selling within the apprenticeship sector.
Commission: Uncapped commission on all apprenticeship starts once monthly target is met
Travel: Monthly travel to London for team days is reimbursed in full

Business Development Manager - What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for Business Development Managers who will be at the forefront of our growth journey, driving commercial success while building lasting, consultative relationships with our clients. You’ll proactively identify new opportunities, including through confident cold calling and market research techniques, and work closely with prospective and existing partners to understand their leadership development goals. By crafting tailored apprenticeship solutions, you’ll help clients achieve measurable return on investment. Our Business Development Executives are driven, passionate, and target-focused, but equally skilled in listening, advising, and co-creating impactful learning solutions. Business Development Manager - What’s On Offer
- Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Uncapped commission on all apprenticeship starts once monthly target is met
- Undertake a fully funded Chartered Management Institute qualification
- Career progression to Senior Business Development Manager based on performance and length of service
- 5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays
- Paid company closure over the winter holidays
- 2 weeks full sick pay per year
- Remote working from home with travel to London required once per month (travel costs reimbursed)
Business Development Manager - Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research new apprenticeship prospects
- Generate interest via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
- Attend networking events to build relationships
- Lead client meetings virtually and occasionally in person
- Produce timely business proposals
- Hit monthly apprenticeship start targets
- Conduct learner and manager briefings
- Manage client accounts and identify upsell opportunities
- Provide prospect updates to the Commercial Director
- Maintain accurate CRM records
Ideal candidates will showcase some or all of the following experience:
- Proven success in telesales or business development (essential)
- Experience in selling apprenticeships and training (highly desirable)
- Target-focused, driven and yearning to succeed
- Warm, able to connect with a variety of stakeholders and build strong relationships
- Confident and effective communicator, particularly with senior stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset across diverse industries
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable
- Organised, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented
