We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Nuclear & Infrastructure Division. The location for this role is flexible, and regular travel will be required.
Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market!
Vacancy Details
In the Business Development Manager position you will actively engage and build close working relationships with Contractors, Developers and Engineers to gain detailed knowledge of future Projects and create tender opportunities. Support the estimating department with bid preparation and provide Contractors with pre and post tender service.

Vacancy Details
In the Business Development Manager position you will actively engage and build close working relationships with Contractors, Developers and Engineers to gain detailed knowledge of future Projects and create tender opportunities. Support the estimating department with bid preparation and provide Contractors with pre and post tender service.
Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
- Identify and attend trade events relevant to our sector.
- Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities using expert market knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximise sales and revenue.
- Identify, engage, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Deliver impactful business development presentations to stakeholders.
- Support tender submissions and lead post-tender negotiations.
- Analyse bid feedback to improve commercial competitiveness.
- Report regularly on business development performance.
- Significant experience in the construction or engineering industry & a solid understanding of structural steel is essential.
- Experience of working on bids on nuclear licensed sites, defence sites and other highly regulated environments.
- Computer literate, conversant with MS programmes including word, excel and powerpoint. Plus, able to use and manage internal CRM systems.
- The ability to hold security clearance.
