ROI is seeking a Business Development Manager to support our internal sales team working for Alphabet Leasing, a global leader in Business Mobility. This role offers the opportunity to manage key relationships, explore new business opportunities, help deliver innovative fleet management solutions to our clients and allows you to be exposed to the full sales cycle. OTE is projected to be circa £32k.

What will you be doing?
- Act as a trusted adviser to Alphabet’s clients by identifying their business needs, providing tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Generate new leads, identify sales opportunities, and develop strategies to grow Alphabet’s fleet management business.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring steady growth through effective territory management and client outreach.
- Stay ahead of trends within the business mobility sector, keeping up to date with competitors and identifying areas for innovation.
- Work closely with Alphabet’s internal teams to provide seamless service delivery.
- Work closely with the Business Sales Manager by ensuring leads are fully qualified, enabling effective prospect engagement, addressing client needs, and facilitating successful sales conversions.
- A ‘Hunter’ Mentality: initiative-taking drive to relentlessly pursue and close new business opportunities, consistently seeking out prospects and taking initiative to achieve targets.
- Business Development Expertise: Proven success in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally within the automotive, leasing, or fleet management sectors.
- Client-focused: Exceptional ability to understand client needs, tailor solutions, and nurture long-term relationships.
- Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of market trends and the ability to identify business opportunities.
- Proactive and Strategic Thinking: You thrive on identifying new prospects and developing creative ways to win business.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems, lead generation tools, and digital outreach methods is a must.
