Job Description
This position offers remote work with full flexibility and high earning potential. While time zone agnosticism is emphasised, the candidate must comfortably align with GMT for at least part of the day.
We are at a pivotal moment of growth within the expanding market of women's health. The momentum behind innovation in this field is unprecedented. We seek a sharp, entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to help scale our impact by driving revenue, building meaningful partnerships, and shaping the future of the business.
This role goes beyond sales; it involves collaboration, creativity, and commercial vision. You'll work closely with the founder but will have real autonomy to own your work, shape your pipeline, and drive the business forward.
Revenue Streams & Opportunities:
1. Report Sponsorships
Our trend reports are widely recognized and read by a diverse range of audiences. With strong interest and over 1,000 downloads to date, these reports are primed for sponsorship growth. Your focus will be on building a pipeline of strategically aligned partners to bring our reports to market.
All our reports are free and will remain so. Women's health is chronically underfunded and under-resourced. By securing report partners, you ensure essential data accessibility for female founders, researchers, advocates, and venture capitalists.
2. White-Labelled Reports
We are leading report writers in women's health, increasingly gaining interest from global brands seeking foresight tailored to their business needs.
As a Business Development Lead, you will sell our customized foresight and white-labelled reports into major corporates and industry players by:
- Identifying and targeting strategic accounts across healthcare, consumer goods, tech, and more
- Translating foresight into client-specific narratives
- Growing long-term partnerships that establish us as the go-to foresight partner
3. Speaking Engagements & Consulting (Growth Opportunity)
Beyond reports, we are increasingly asked to deliver keynotes, advisory projects, and consulting engagements. You will help shape this pipeline, extending our influence across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across reports and partnerships
- Build and convert the sponsorship pipeline for future reports
- Identify and develop new client opportunities
- Lead discovery calls, scope client needs, and develop tailored proposals
- Co-create pitches and lead follow-up through to close
- Build long-term relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell potential
- Create and improve business development assets
- Monitor trends in women's health, wellness, and investments to source leads
- Maintain an updated pipeline using CRM tools
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and outreach strategies
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to generate new leads
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
- Have experience in long sales cycles and end-to-end consultative sales
- Have proven B2B sales or partnership experience (experience in an agency or consultancy is a plus)
- Are a self-starter who enjoys working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Care deeply about women’s health, innovation, and creating meaningful impact
- Are commercially minded and motivated by growth and opportunity
Inclusivity Statement:
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including parents, disabled and neurodivergent individuals, those living rurally, or those returning to work after a break. If this opportunity excites you and you believe you’d be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
