  • Optimising website performance, back and frontend, for clients such as media and entertainment motion capture specialist, Vicon, with conversion rate optimisation testing that has increased audience engagement.
  • Helping niche retailers grow their eCommerce, as with Jacksons Art Supplies, creating new eCommerce capability and implementing design transformation which has seen a significant up-tick in their business
  • Delivering major projects, such as a large-scale migration project for Epson Europe, including 15,000 pages being moved to their new website

Your Responsibilities

As our Business Development Executive you will be working closely with our Managing Director and the marketing team to act as the first point of contact for any new leads, discussing the prospective clients pain points and services they are interested in to establish if we could be a good fit for each other.

A few of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Qualifying inbound prospects, booking in sales meetings and facilitating transition through the sales pipeline

Utilising a mixture of outbound calls, emails and messages to introduce Xigen to potential clients

Ensuring all leads, calls and emails are logged and maintained within HubSpot

Facilitating the creation of proposal documents with support from our technical and sales team

Nurturing prospects, nudging where required to help conversio.

Accurately reporting on sales pipelines

Supporting during sales meetings, taking relevant notes & following up with deliverables post meeting

Keeping abreast of new trends, methodologies and industry technology

Your profile

Some of the skills it is essential youve got:

Proven technical sales/business development experience

Be nice This isnt a pushy sales role, its about forging relationships so that even if the prospect doesnt choose Xigen theyll still think were great

A proactive attitude and desire to learn & grow

Strong communication & networking skills

It would also be great if you had:

Digital/eCommerce sales experience

Experience working with HubSpot
