We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic business development team. This role is pivotal in supporting the end-to-end bid process, while also providing operational support to the wider sales, marketing, and BD leadership team.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic business development team. This role is pivotal in supporting the end-to-end bid process, while also providing operational support to the wider sales, marketing, and BD leadership team.
Responsibilities
Bid and Proposal Support:
- Support the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission.
- Collaborate with bid manager, bid writers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather content and input.
- Maintain and update bid libraries, templates, and standard responses.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and tender requirements.
- Format and proofread bid documents to ensure consistency and professionalism.
- Track bid progress and deadlines using appropriate tools and systems.
- Support post-submission activities including feedback analysis and lessons learned.
- Coordinate client engagements and stakeholder activities such as tracking meetings and actions.
- Prepare presentations to support leadership reviews
- Assist with internal reporting and maintenance of BD dashboards
- Support lead generation with market research and competitor analysis
- Liaise with marketing to support the coordination of events and help draft content for the CL social media channel
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner
- Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
- When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.
Perform other business development related duties as required.
Essential
- Previous experience in a bid coordination or similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- To be competent in the use of Microsoft Project and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with public sector or international bids.
- Familiarity with procurement portals and bid management software.
- Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK
- Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK
- Due to the location of our office a driving license and own transport is required.
