Business Analyst

Prorec is supporting our government-sector client in identifying an experienced Business Analyst to join their growing Professional Services division. This role plays a key part in enabling the delivery of transformative IT services and service management enhancements across highly secure environments.

Key Responsibilities;

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis – Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements in structured formats.
• Process Mapping & Impact Assessment – Identify inefficiencies, dependencies, and recommend improved processes.
• Change Facilitation – Lead or support business change initiatives from inception to implementation.
• Solution Design Support – Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Governance & Reporting – Participate in governance forums and provide concise progress updates.
• Stakeholder Management – Communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
• Post-Implementation Review – Measure success and embed new ways of working.

Required Skills & Experience;

• Strong business analysis background, including process modelling and impact mapping.
• Experience in service delivery and ITIL environments.
• Proficiency in ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with secure government operations and compliance.
• Experience with service management tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Eligibility Criteria;

• Active UK Security Clearance (SC or DV).
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel to Gloucester or London on an ad-hoc basis.
