Orderly is looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our customers and our tech team and help shaping the future of our product suite. Whether rolling out our products to new markets and companies or discussing enhancements with existing customers, we are looking for someone who values our sustainability driven mission and can bring this to the forefront of their interactions with customers.

Main duties:

  • Act as the bridge between customers and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Liaise with different levels of business stakeholders to understand business requirements, leads functional workshops and interviews to understand business processes, client needs and painpoints
  • Working collaboratively with product managers and engineers to develop solutions or recommendations that align with the client's needs and Orderly’s products or services, ensuring feasibility. This may involve tailoring existing offerings or suggesting custom solutions
  • Translate requirements into clear, structured documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes and process flows for developers
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Customer Success and Sales, to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation across the software development lifecycle, such as Business Requirements Documents, detailed functional specifications, dataflow diagrams, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, release notes, and user guides or other training materials. This includes technical documentation typically handled by a technical writer, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usability for various audiences
  • Conduct live demonstrations for end users, facilitate "train-the-trainer" sessions to ensure effective product adoption
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and roadmap prioritization
  • Improve internal processes by introducing best practices in documentation, stakeholder communication and requirement tracking
  • Gathering and analysing client feedback to identify areas for improvement in products, services, or processes. Working with internal teams to implement changes based on feedback.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a startup or SaaS environment
  • Demonstrable evidence of gathering, analysing and documenting business processes
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers to design and implement effective solutions to solve user’s problems
  • Proven experience writing requirements specifications for development teams to action
  • A strong grasp of UX/UI principles and their impact on user experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and navigate uncertainty with ease
  • Confidence in dealing with all levels of stakeholder
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with AI, ML, or automation-driven SaaS products
  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or sustainability-focused products
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS business with enterprise customers
  • Experience creating wireframes in Figma
