About This Role
Breakfast Club Assistant
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time Breakfast Club Assistant, based at Princecroft Primary School.
Hours:
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 8.30am, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Salary Range:
B2, £24,413 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £2765 per annum).
Start date: 1st November 2025

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible Breakfast Club Assistant, to undertake the care of individuals or groups of children and support their learning and development before school

Role Overview:

Main Duties:
- To ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times
- To stimulate, encourage and develop children’s play in a positive way
- To foster children’s language development and social skills through sustained shared thinking and the use of open-ended questioning.
- Attend to the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children
- To support the club leader in all aspects of the running of the club.
- To assist with food preparation – a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate will be required or training will need to be undertaken
