Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the role:

As Brand Manager for Tango, you will play a key part of delivering our 2026 ambition, leading high visibility Innovation projects and Activation campaigns working alongside the Senior Brand Manager and Marketing Controller with brand strategy.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Brand Manager – Tango. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager - Tango this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

• Support in shaping and delivering the business agenda for Tango through the development of annual operating, marking and commercial plans.
• Act as the guardian for the Tango brand identity, delivering the brand for growth and positioning, creating and managing effective asset creation and approvals – bringing the brand to life across the commercial function to build engagement and inspire delivery.
• Deliver a Tango roadmap for continued growth, leading the business to deliver bold brand and category strategies.
• Work with the commercial growth teams to create, communicate and align brand, commercial and category plans – setting the standards for how Tango appears along the on-trade path to purchase.
• Responsible for turning Tango brand visions into reality, owning key brand metrics and leading cross functional teams to become brand led.
• Support commercial colleagues with customer presentations and business pitches – championing the Tango agenda (and wider Carbs team).
• Developing powerful relationships with XF teams to ensure fantastic delivery outcomes in the market, as well as building relationships with the Off & On Trade leadership teams to drive exceptional outcomes for Tango in the channel.
• Managing agency relationships, motivating them to produce exceptional work for Tango that build brand equity.
• Accountable for the in-year performance of Tango KPI’s, partnering with Brand Operation colleagues to deliver clear and simple insight with actions where needed.
• Own delivery of brand AOP objectives, annual budget and provide input across total brand P&L, including consumer, shopper and customer investments.
  
  

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Brand leadership experience is needed, preferably in FMCG, ideally working on a significant scale brand.
• High level of Brand P&L value management experience.
• Experience of working with 3rd party creative and activation agencies.
• Strong project management, planning and delivery skills.
• Cross functional leadership capability, both internally and with 3rd party strategic partners.
• Creativity in delivering an inspiring and compelling vision and brand strategy.
• Experience in strategic brand and business planning with sound evidence of consumer & shopper insight-led strategy implementation.
• Demonstrable track record of success driving a brand led agenda within commercial, matrix organisations, resulting in brand equity growth and enhanced business profitability
• XF team management experience with ability to inspire, grow and develop people in a matrix structure.
