We’re on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fantastic Chester City team supporting our vibrant and diverse client base.

It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and innovative firm. You’ll:

• Get fully involved with client bookkeeping to trial balance, ready for accounts production
• Complete reconciliations and adjustments to produce accurate information.
• Confidently prepare and submit VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, advising them of their liabilities and solving any potential queries
• Liaise with HMRC
• Post and scan invoices, and complete CIS returns for clients.
  
  

Let's talk about you and your skills...

Hungry for a new challenge, you’ll:

• Be AAT L3/L4 Qualified or QBE
• Have previous management accounts experience (desirable not essential)
• Be experienced in using Xero software.
• Have an In-depth knowledge of VAT return processes and the various schemes.
• Understand accounting systems, processes, and all aspects of bookkeeping.
• Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
• Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
• Be proactive and passionate about delivering a great client experience.
