We’re on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fantastic Chester City team supporting our vibrant and diverse client base.
It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and innovative firm. You’ll:
- Get fully involved with client bookkeeping to trial balance, ready for accounts production
- Complete reconciliations and adjustments to produce accurate information.
- Confidently prepare and submit VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
- Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, advising them of their liabilities and solving any potential queries
- Liaise with HMRC
- Post and scan invoices, and complete CIS returns for clients.
Hungry for a new challenge, you’ll:
- Be AAT L3/L4 Qualified or QBE
- Have previous management accounts experience (desirable not essential)
- Be experienced in using Xero software.
- Have an In-depth knowledge of VAT return processes and the various schemes.
- Understand accounting systems, processes, and all aspects of bookkeeping.
- Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
- Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.
- Be proactive and passionate about delivering a great client experience.
