Description

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
  • Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.

Profile

A Successful Bookkeeper Should Have

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software ideally Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £37,000 per annum.
