DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team and delivering excellent customer service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will
- To assist with the maintenance and monitoring of the terms and conditions of the HMRC Excise and/or Customs Warehouse approval for one site
- To support the Bond Manager in implementing compliance procedures and in protecting DHL's HMRC compliance profile
- To check the processing of returns and customer claims, whilst maintaining accurate stock files via PI and analysing inventory discrepancies
- To assist in ensuring the integrity of the stock and duty processes for Tax and Duty purposes
- Submitting W5d/W1 via HMRC website and assisting in the day to day DMS processes
- Previous experience within a similar role in a bonded warehouse or supply chain environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills - both written and verbal
- Strong numeracy skills
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with JDA and DMS is beneficial but not essential as training is provided
- Honest and trustworthy
- Attention to detail and organised
