  • Take a lead role in writing, editing, and proofreading content for PQQs and ITTs.
  • Translate complex technical input into clear, engaging, and customer-centric narrative.
  • Maintain and develop a library of boilerplate responses, CVs, and case studies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather accurate and relevant content.
  • Ensure submissions are presented professionally and delivered on time.
  • Support the Bid Administrator in cataloguing and content management.
  • Handle multiple bid submissions in a deadline-driven environment with competing priorities.

08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home with a set pattern of Monday Thurday and Friday in the Maidstone office, and Tuesday and Wednesday from home for a five-day working week.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a Bid Writer or similar role (preferably in managed services, but not essential).
  • Full understanding of the bid lifecycle, including OJEU/PQQ/ITT and post-tender stages.
  • Outstanding written English with the ability to write, edit, and proof content to a high standard.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure error-free submissions.
  • Capable of managing multiple bids and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to liaise effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
