Role Description
LV=GI are transforming our data landscape through the delivery of the Data Strategy. Underpinning this is the Azure Data Platform, which the BI team are responsible for designing, building and maintaining, and Data Engineers are key to ensuring its success.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our family of talented people in the BI Data Analyst.
As a BI Data Analyst, the purpose of this role is to obtain, prepare, design and structure data and/or user interfaces, utilising data modelling and development skills so that analysts and business users can interrogate data flexibly and efficiently for insight.

As a BI Data Analyst, the purpose of this role is to obtain, prepare, design and structure data and/or user interfaces, utilising data modelling and development skills so that analysts and business users can interrogate data flexibly and efficiently for insight.
Your Focus
- Structures and models data in accordance with architectural best practice and governance standards for both ad-hoc business requests and wider project-related requirements through effective use of a range of systems and software.
- Ensures consistency, relevance and accuracy of information through participation as an SME in data quality processes and investigations.
- Delivers data structures and user interfaces that enable analysts and business users to interrogate data flexibly and efficiently for insight.
- Provides accurate, timely and actionable business information using range of systems and software.
- Designs and builds outputs to meet the agreed requirements.
- Previous experiencing of structuring data.
- Has used at least one relevant coding language to frame data queries.
- Familiar with legislation relating to use and storage of data.
- Understanding of data modelling, data presentation and statistical principles.
- Knowledge of at least one relevant coding language.
- Understanding of BI software and its application.
- Will have or be required to gain certification in use of BI tools.
