About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support students in a local school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing children's learning experiences in reading, writing, and numeracy.
Key Responsibilities
Working With Long Term Teachers
We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support students in a local school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing children's learning experiences in reading, writing, and numeracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in class activities, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
- Foster an engaging and fun learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with the class teacher regarding student progress and areas of difficulty.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and parents as needed.
- Assist with outdoor learning activities to promote creativity.
- Participate in educational trips and assist with student supervision.
- Provide 1:1 support for students who need extra help on specific tasks.
- Utilize provided resources and learning aids to support student learning.
- Model positive behavior and promote the school’s social policies to prevent bullying.
- Take initiative and be proactive in supporting the classroom environment.
- Familiar with Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behavior Management, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities policies.
- Hold a valid Child Workforce DBS (can be obtained during the recruitment process).
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
