As a Barista at Sodexo ,you'll craft exceptional coffee and serve delicious food from our diverse menu— think cakes, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and toasties. Located at Royal Stoke Hospital , you'll help create a welcoming environment thateases the stress of hospital visits by offering warm hospitality and friendly,professional conversations with patients, staff, and visitors alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep your workspace clean, organised, and in line with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines and related equipment
  • Support preparation of retail/ food produce for daily service
  • Provide excellent customer service while handling transactions at the till
  • Follow Sodexo’s cash-handling policies to ensure security and accuracy
  • Maintain allergen safety/ knowledge at all times, ensuring guest safety

What You Bring

  • A friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and a great team spirit
  • Experience with espresso machines or a willingness to learn barista skills and food prep
  • Confidence using a cash register or EPOS system
  • A passion for creating a clean, safe, and positive environment
  • Able to work effectively as a team
  • Flexibility to be able to cover all hours required
