About the Role:We are currently looking for a Locum Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital team in Poole. This temporary position is perfect for a qualified technician who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing vital support to the pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
• Prepare and label medications for inpatients, outpatients, and ward use.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock control and medication ordering.
• Support the clinical pharmacy team in delivering efficient and safe pharmacy services.
• Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and received.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  
  

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
