Picture this: As a pivotal member of a high-performing group, you'll play a crucial role within the AWS and Azure department and wider delivery team to provide excellent service in customer facing technical project work items. They will be driven to build, enhance, and hand over completed workloads to customers and support colleagues. The Team: Join a dynamic team of technology specialists dedicated to delivering valued projects to our customers while advising on best practices and approaches. The Professional Services Team foster an open and honest collaborative environment, where a specialised team brings expertise across Modern Work, Dynamics, Azure, and AWS. While team members focus on their respective areas, this role will serve as a vital link between Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration and cross-platform collaboration. Your Day As An AWS Cloud Engineer Includes

• Deliver high-quality AWS and Azure migrations and build projects for partners and clients
• Support AWS and Azure Solution Architects with the creation of cloud architectures
• Support long-standing retainer clients with high-touch customer service
• Drive digital transformation by leveraging cloud technologies to enhance business operations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to support their cloud journey
• Play a key role within the AWS and Azure teams, contributing to technical project success
• Provide exceptional service in customer facing technical projects and support initiatives
  
  

You'll be the ideal AWS Cloud Engineer for us if you:

• Significant experience required within an AWS Delivery Role with experience in build and migration projects
• Top skills required:
• AWS Compute (EC2, ECS, EKS),
• Database (RDS),
• Storage (S3, EBS),
• Networking (VPC),
• Security (IAM),
• Linux and/or Windows administration, etc.
• DevOps (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, CI/CD, YAML, Pipelines)
• Familiar with Kubernetes/EKS and containerization technologies such as Docker
• Ability to work in Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
• Ability to consult with both technical professionals and business stakeholders
• Knowledge of other public cloud technologies (such as GCP) is a plus
  

Desirable Cloud Engineer Skills

• Azure IaaS and PaaS (App Services, Virtual Machines, VMSS), Azure Databases (SQL, Cosmos), Networking (VPNs, Firewalls), Security (private endpoints, NSGs), Scripting (Az CLI, PowerShell)

• Tech set up to support great home and in-office working
• Designated Office: Derby, Bristol or Farnborough (preference) UK
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
