We’re looking for an Automation Support Developer to join our team at Exertis UK, playing a key role in maintaining and supporting robotic automation processes that drive cost savings and business efficiencies.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, configuring, and enhancing our internally developed automation solutions, ensuring they run seamlessly while continuously improving our automation landscape.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience

Location: Remote in the UK with travel to Exertis offices for strategic meetings

As part of the team, you’ll:

  • Provide BAU support for deployed Automation processes, including the creation of the necessary exception reporting to monitor automated process failures and trends
  • Support the development and delivery of automated processes to quality and agreed specs within the Exertis Automation Framework, creating reusable knowledge for each automation project/process
  • Monitor and maintain existing process automations to ensure automation exceptions are kept to a minimum
  • Support the configuration/adoption of new functionality within our Automation systems, providing feedback to development teams, user guides, FAQs and “HowTo” snippets for inclusion within the ticketing system where needed

What We’re Looking For:

You’re an energetic self-starter with the ability to take ownership and be accountable within a fast-moving, demanding environment. To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in UiPath to maintain, patch and monitor Automation processes
  • Familiarity with SQL database and query language along with the ability to use customer analytics to make sound business and commercial decisions and output
  • Wide range of technical skills, including but not limited to Service Desk, UiPath, Orchestrator, Jira, Confluence, GIT
  • An eagerness for continuous learning of best practices and principles
  • A proven ability to provide excellent support, maintenance and bug fixes
