Pay Scale:
Starting at £12.60 per hour, rising to £12.82 after probation. Opportunity to progress to £13.30 at your own pace

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Bonnet team in Tayside!
Our Bonnet service currently supports 2 people living with Autism, who enjoy the outdoors from day trips to fun activities at various locations. They also enjoy going for walks, eating out and making the most of their home comforts.
The role involves supporting the individuals at home and out in the community, you would be making a difference in their lives by helping them to be more independent whilst maintaining a comfortable and enjoyable living environment.
Our individuals are very likeable and enjoyable to work with; you will also work alongside a brilliant team of staff that value collaboration and mutual support.
Autism Practitioners work as part of a team to:
- Continually develop and implement personalised support plans for the supported person,
- Build positive relationships with the supported person,
- Work in partnership with the supported person, their family, support network and health professionals,
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the person's life goals and aspirations are at the centre of their support.
On a day-to-day basis, Autism Practitioners enable people to:
- Make informed choices using their preferred communication methods,
- Take part in their chosen activities, attending local events, shopping, going on holiday etc. Practitioners can expect to go out and about with supported individuals to places of interest,
- Complete all necessary tasks which enable them to maintain their homes, including paying bills and supporting them to make the decisions that matter to them.
- Live as independently as possible with support with various life skills and may include support with personal care.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake shift work, including weekends and evenings.
