Associate Partner

What’s the Opportunity

We are recruiting an Associate Partner who can help drive, build, grow and win work for the structural and civils teams across our regional Reading office. This person will work closely with the rest of the team to support and nurture our engineers in a collaborative manner to continue to build a delivery focussed team which reflects the culture and values of Ridge in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Role

In this role you will split your time across the engineering teams, initially (as an estimate) the following ratio may apply:

• Structural and Civils team management - 15%
• Client facing/ work winning - 80%
• Other - 5%
  
  

What you need to do to be effective in this role

• Financial responsibility for your team
• Business development - working with your network to secure repeat and new business
• Development of your team - recruitment, training and development plans
• Support the offices with cross office resources
• Recruitment of strategic hires to grow your team
• Support other teams across the offices with financial / strategic challenges
• Supporting and promoting Ridge at industry events
• Ensuring you keep up to date with legislation changes and disseminating across the business
  
  

The skills and experience you need to have for this role

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Degree in a relevant subject
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Proficient user of IT software packages
