JOB MISSION:
The Associate Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting with the delivery against one of our biggest partnership investments across EMEA, the TCS London Marathon as well as the wider London Marathon Events Series and additional partnerships & events as required. Building strong, operational foundations for a best-in-class brand experiences, this role will assist with the management and activation of these partnerships against key contractual, commercial and brand deliverables.
This position is part of the UK&IRE Brand Marketing team, reporting to the Manager in charge of Partnerships Activation and collaborating with UK&IRE Sales & Marketing, EMEA Marketing, and Global Sports/Running Marketing teams. We are dedicated to devising partnership strategies, delivering activations, and exploring avenues to improve market share and attract new customers.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist with the ongoing management of regular workflow with cross-functional Project Leads, ensuring communication & tracking is always clear.
- Continual support with coordination, admin, reporting and regular communication across multiple functions to support any partnerships & events including Retail, Brand Marketing Communications, Wholesale, Sports Marketing, Gift of Kit, Hospitality and Product.
- Collaborate with key partners to explore avenues for improving the commercialization of our partnerships and relationships with fellow partners & charities.
- Lead planning and execution of the Running Show, collaborate with Retail, Marketing, and Product for outstanding brand implementation.
- Develop and implement outstanding brand events to improve market presence and attract new customers in collaboration with Brand & Marketing teams.
- Manage Gift of Kit needs, routine updates, shipping, product offerings, release schedules, lifespan & activities
- Support inbound and outbound delivery of commercial rights across contractual requirements seeking opportunities to further enhance and evolve the offering.
- Plan and execute Hospitality programme(s) including:
- Third-party agency management (if appointed)
- Venue/Hotel sourcing
- Communication re. programme, race place and hospitality allocations across Markets
- Guest gifting
- Transport planning
- Race Day Hospitality
- Build, communicate, manage and deliver the race entries process for all events across the year, with NB Global associates and across Markets.
- Take full ownership of the Hospitality budget and handle recharges process with Market Leads.
- Support Partnerships Activation Manager with ongoing partnerships budget tracking & reporting.
- Continually supervise 3rd party costs, seeking cross-quotations and value always.
- Previous experience within a Sponsorship/ Partnership position.
- Able to manage multiple projects/workstreams at the same time.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Large scale events activation experience.
- Exceptional organisation, time & leadership skills.
- Knowledge of project management tools & MS Excel.
- Experience in budget and reporting management.
- A passion for running and the sports industry would be beneficial.
- Take pride in your work and maintain an excellent eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region and work occasional weekends or non-standard hours.
- Ability to lift and move equipment.
