Job Overview

Plans, schedules, directs, controls, monitors, organizes, secures and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of programs and/or projects specific to a particular industry or specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and collaborates on cross-functional projects, as required, and interacts with relevant parties, regionally, locally and/or globally, to ensure objectives and milestones of these projects are met
  • Develops project plans for all phases of the project and associated deliverables.
  • Manage the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables, and all other project management activities for the project(s) and/or multi-project program(s).
  • Review, track and report out on project budget and scope of work, including management of project budget(s) to meet financial and company goals proactively ensure adherence to change control processes.
  • Supervise maintenance of project management information and data tracking systems.
  • Review all decision points and escalate as necessary to the business lead or executive sponsor.
  • Evaluate impact of risks, develop and implement quality and risk management plans in alignment with business lead for minimizing impact on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder identification, engagement and ownership as subject matter experts on projects. Create clear and comprehensive communication plans.
  • Continually review and ensure adequate internal and external resources are available to meet project deliverables and milestones.

Minimum Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s required
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • 5 years of prior project management experience.
  • Experience in clinical trials execution, pharmaceutical industry or clinical laboratory services desired. Project management of facility relocations, and/or construction/build experience preferred

Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Project management, initiative management and process improvement skills, experience and capabilities are keys to success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong skills in MS Project and/or Smartsheets
