Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping transport strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and design of transport schemes.
  • Conducting traffic analysis using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG software.
  • Collaborating with senior planners to develop reports and presentations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of traffic impact assessments and transport studies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather data and insights.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of transport planning processes.

What we're Looking For:
We seek a proactive individual with a keen interest in transport planning. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Familiarity with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG software.
  • A relevant degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

Advanced use of Microsoft Office software packages

Good levels of numeracy, including a good understanding of spreadsheets.

Use of AutoCAD (desirable)

Working experience / understanding of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG
