Forth Valley Psychological Therapies Service is excited to be offering a new post to recruit an enthusiastic psychology graduate for the above post. The post will involve supporting the service to deliver a matched stepped care psychological therapies service within the prisons in NHS Forth Valley. Further duties will include service related research and audit to support the work of the Service. Training, support and clinical supervision will be available from within the team. A first or upper second honours degree in Psychology is essential, as are an understanding of good clinical practice, excellent communication skills, organisational skills, IT skills and interpersonal skills.

Further training, such as Enhanced Psychological Practitioner Training is desirable. This department provides a friendly and supportive environment in which to work. The post will be based across the three prisons and support, supervision and continuing professional development will be offered from the wider forensic clinical psychology team.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
