The role
As an Assistant Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role will have a wide exposure to the business where you will be liaising with and working alongside engineering, project management as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Day-to-day, you’ll will support the capture and management of identified LfE across the Submarine Disposal Programme and assist with implementation.
Essential Experience Of The Assistant Project Controller
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

The role

Day-to-day, you’ll will support the capture and management of identified LfE across the Submarine Disposal Programme and assist with implementation.
- Supporting the delivery and management of LfE processes across the Submarine Disposal Programme and relevant projects.
- Working in partnership with the wider Project Control team to analyse information and identify potential LfE
- Assisting with the investigation of LfE, and supporting the production of LfE reports
- Updating and maintaining the LfE capture register and implementation tracker, and relevant databases, e.g. Planning, Estimating and Production System (PEPS).
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Project Teams, Submarine Delivery Agency) to capture, share and discuss LfE.
Essential Experience Of The Assistant Project Controller
- Ability to work as part of a team in a hybrid fashion (essential).
- Experience of producing reports and communicating with Senior Leaders (essential).
- A driven, proactive and inquisitive mind set with the ability to work independently (essential).
- Ability to challenge and be open to being challenged (essential).
- Awareness and understanding of continuous improvement E.g. Lean (desirable)
- Understanding of Project Management lifecycle and principles E.G. APM (desirable).
- Qualified to degree level or be able to demonstrate career-based knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
