Job Title: Assistant Buyer

Contract: Permanent, up to 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working - min. 3 days in HQ)

Salary: £26k-£30k depending on experience

About the Role

  • The Assistant Buyer is responsible for supporting the buying team on the development, costing, selection of the product ranges and the day to day running of the department across both Own Brand and Branded products.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining schedules and key deadlines within the development critical path and sustaining good working relationships both with suppliers and internal departments.
  • You are an ambassador for your ranges, and you are responsible for communicating these to all teams who communicate directly with customers, providing accurate information and fostering a sense of excitement about our products.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so we all spend regular time with our customers to understand what is important, whether that’s working in stores, taking calls in customer services or stocktaking at our warehouse. We are all in it together – We are Bravissimo!


About You

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in Buying.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about product, customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • This role is varied, and you will need to be organised, positive, self-motivated and able to flex and effectively prioritise your workload to ensure product is delivered on time.
  • Teamwork drives everything we deliver in Product, and you will be confident working collaboratively with colleagues on a day-to-day basis to achieve our goals, and willing to help and support others if needed.
  • We want people who really understand and connect with our purpose, as this shapes everything we do. Our culture is agile and pacey, and you should be motivated by an environment where things can change quickly, and where things aren’t always black and white.
  • Fantastic communication skills are a must as you will be working with a number of different teams.
