Assistant Business Recovery & Restructuring Manager

About The Role

As an Assistant Manager in our Business Recovery & Restructuring team, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of insolvency and advisory cases. You’ll work closely with directors, shareholders, creditors, and individuals in financial distress, helping them navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of corporate and personal insolvency appointments (e.g. administrations, CVLs, MVLs, bankruptcies)
• Support senior team members in delivering restructuring and turnaround advice
• Liaise with stakeholders, including directors, creditors, solicitors, and agents
• Prepare statutory reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• ACA/ACCA qualified or CPI/JIEB qualified (or working towards).
• Proven experience in an insolvency or restructuring role.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ideally, experience with IPS
