Description
- Assist with preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
- Process invoices, expenses, and other financial documents with precision.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Contribute to improving financial processes and procedures within the organisation.
A Successful Assistant Accountant Should Have
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Qualifications or training in Accounting & Finance.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- A competitive salary in the range of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
