Job Summary
The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 12,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. Ours is a diverse workforce, with roles ranging from trainers, human resources, teachers, and psychologists to storekeepers, financiers, project and programme managers, and policy secretariat staff. There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army.
HQ 2 Med Group, which falls under HQ Field Army Troops, is to force generate, prepare and command deployed hospital care and specialist clinical capability on worldwide commitments with Allies and partners. There are 9 Multi-Role Medical Regiments under its Command who provide and deliver Primary and Secondary Healthcare and recruit, retain, train, and generate specialist medical capability to support Operations overseas and in the UK, whilst maintaining inter-operability and innovations in War Development.
215 Multirole Medical Regiment Headquarters is based in Glasgow and has Squadrons across Scotland. This role is based in 252 Hospital Squadron in Aberdeen and plays an important role in support of the unit military personnel.
