About The Role
As an Area Sales Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, your main responsibility will be to manage and lead a team of Sales Representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and ensuring the achievements of sales targets within the area. This role is based in the UK and you will take ownership of the UK North Region covering Northern England and Scotland.

About The Role
As an Area Sales Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, your main responsibility will be to manage and lead a team of Sales Representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies and ensuring the achievements of sales targets within the area. This role is based in the UK and you will take ownership of the UK North Region covering Northern England and Scotland.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their sales targets and objectives.
- Territory Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the assigned territory.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to adapt the sales strategy accordingly.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to sales representatives, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to succeed.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the area and ensure that expenditures are in line with the company's financial objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges, and present them to the senior management team.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and industry regulations, including age-restriction laws for tobacco products.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the tobacco industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to develop effective sales plans.
- Familiarity with UK tobacco industry regulations and market dynamics.
- You will have a Full UK Driving License.
