We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join the Lucy & Yak Retail Team!
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for the in-store experience and business performance within your area of stores. You drive and track objectives and key results to reach sales and financial goals. You will support stores in spreading brand awareness, through memorable customer experiences. You will manage and provide oversight including all aspects of profit, people, and process within your area. You are an inspiring leader, who desires to grow and develop motivated and energetic teams.

What you'll be doing...
Brand
- Model the company's behaviours, vision, mission and values
- Lead Store Teams to develop brand awareness and affinity at all customer touchpoints
- Support the Head of Retail to create, drive, and review various aspects of retail operations
- People-driven! Foster a customer-driven culture within the stores, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations and creates meaningful and memorable experiences
- Elevate customer interaction through implementing and driving the Lucy & Yak Customer Experience
- Support the Store Manager in implementing and maintaining merchandising standards, ensuring the stores deliver consistency to the brand message but also featuring their store personality, style and creativity
- Responsible for the financial health and profitability of your area of stores, driving revenue and exceeding targets
- Reviewing and managing sales and cost, supporting store managers to develop financial acumen and commerciality
- Gathering business insights from your area and formulating trade analysis, feedback and actions on a regular basis
- Conducting store visits every week to support, manage, and inspire store team members through leading by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, instant feedbacks and coaching
- Responsible for providing day-to-day support to Store Managers to ensure all objectives are achieved, operational, brand and product standards are maintained & store teams are set up for success
- Support Head of Retail in effectively launching compliance practices, policies, and other training initiatives, support in creating and delivering training

- Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- A track record of developing and motivating strong talent, leading others through the fast paced environments as well as experience in dealing with various people management (HR/ER) scenarios
- You have 5+ years of experience of customer-facing management experience, proven track record of leading multiple retail sites and new store opening experience desirable
- You are willing and available to travel across the UK, and work weekends depending on the needs of the business
- Financial management experience with success in driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses
- Salary £38 -£42k per annum
- Hybrid/Remote role with frequent travel to our Retail Stores
- Permanent full-time role
- 4 day/34 hour week with full time salary
