Contract type: Fixed term for 24 months

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference? We’re looking for a dynamic and committed Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support learners and help create meaningful learning experiences.

About The Role

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of teachers to:

• Support learners in all aspects of teaching and learning, enhancing their educational experience.
• Assist learners with individual needs, working one-to-one, within a classroom, or in small groups.
• Develop expertise in specialisms such as English, Maths, ICT, or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Support learners whose first language isn’t English, if you are bilingual.
  
  

This role will provide valuable experience in an adult learning environment, preparing you for a fulfilling career in education.

Essential Requirements

• English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards them.
• A proactive attitude towards training and personal development.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the service.
• The ability to travel across the borough as needed.
  
  

An apprenticeship role combines gaining skills and experience on the job with gaining the underpinning knowledge through bespoke training.
