Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Machinist/Setter Technician Apprentice, you will be required to program, set-up, operate and manage CNC machine tools in a production environment. This highly skilled engineering role also involves working with other auxiliary equipment such as conventional machine tools, press machines, robotics and measuring systems.

To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend TDR Training fulltime during the first year.

- Create detailed engineering drawings and use a full range of measuring equipment.
- Gaining core competencies to set and run a CNC Lathe.
- Hand fitting and polishing to a high level of accuracy.
- Supporting the running of multiple products throughout the site.
- Tool changes and programme modifications.
- Continuous Improvement.
- Health and Safety of yourself and others.
