What will you do?

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Analytics team through an exciting period of transformation. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about coaching, agile delivery, and modern data platforms.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Line management of a team of data professionals
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support individual and team growth

Agile Delivery

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team collaboration

Technical Oversight & Migration Support

  • Support the team in migrating from a legacy UK on-premise SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS stack to a modern Databricks + Power BI solution hosted in AWS/Azure
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and analytics delivery
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data initiatives


What will you need?

  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing analytics or data teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience hosting Scrum ceremonies
  • Solid technical background in data platforms, ideally with exposure to:
  • SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS (legacy)
  • Databricks, Power BI, AWS (modern stack)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular office presence in Stoke-on-Trent
