We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Team Lead to join our Intermediated Sales Analytics function, supporting across our Intermediates sales teams. This role acts as a key business partner embedded within the sales teams, leading the delivery of data and insight that drives performance and informs strategic decision-making.
You’ll manage a team of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of tactical reporting to optimise performance across the sales funnel. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to more strategic analysis and insight that shapes the direction of the intermediated business and its key initiatives. As part of our evolving analytics strategy, you’ll help shift the team’s focus from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-led conclusion support, while championing a culture of self-serve analytics and driving adoption of Power BI across the business.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background who enjoys guiding others, working collaboratively across teams, and delivering insight in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Actions
People Management & Development:
- Lead and develop a high performing team of analysts, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Provide regular coaching, feedback and career development support to team members ensuring alignment with goals and strategic team objectives
- Driving team engagement through effective communication, recognition and by creating opportunities for growth and skill enhancement
- Drive team growth and capability , identifying skill gaps and needs while fostering collaboration and knowledge share with the direct sales analytics team
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a reliable reporting infrastructure for the intermediated business area, ensuring consistency in KPIs and data processes
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across Intermediated teams and related functions (e.g., Marketing, QA & Compliance, Finance, CRM & Data Science), supporting cross-functional projects and helping to represent the analytics perspective
- Lead the delivery of the Intermediated Analytics roadmap by coordinating team efforts, contributing to planning discussions, and ensuring work is aligned with business needs and timelines
- Coordinate closely with Direct Sales Analytics team to ensure alignment where relevant , collaborate on solving operational challenges and drive joint problem solving initiatives that enhance cross team efficiency and impact
- Push forward on the teams overarching strategy, shifting the team’s focus from reactive reporting to proactive insight, whilst championing a culture of self-serve analytics
- Carry out analysis across a range of topics to support business decision-making—this includes interpreting A/B test results, modelling scenarios, and identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth
- Design and deliver analytics models that support performance improvements within the sales teams
- Interpret key metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders
- Stay informed on relevant industry trends, best practices and emerging themes to overlay on pieces of insight and feed into Strategic direction of the team
- Take ownership of specific analytics projects, both within the team and in collaboration with other departments, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to enhance the team's analytical depth and efficiency , proactively identifying opportunities to integrate innovative tools and elevate the team's insight generation capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of Excel , Power BI, SQL
- Intermediate knowledge of Python
- 3-5+ Years’ experience working as a senior or above in an analytics role
- Effective communication of complex analytical concepts and results
- Experience coaching / mentoring individuals
- Proven track record of improving processes and driving efficiency
- Experience of using large and varied data sets to yield credible, effective insights
- A good understanding and knowledge on the insurance industry as well as an understanding of contact centre’s
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work and communicate with stakeholders from all levels of the business
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to plan, execute and deliver initiatives on time while coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
