You'll play a key role in helping Sky to deliver its financials, partnering with business stakeholders to interpret and analyse financial performance, and use your influencing skills to provide recommendations on how to drive more value.

What You'll Do

  • Build great business partnering relationships with the management team for your business area, a trusted advisor who can both challenge and support
  • Delivering best in class analysis, reporting, insight and financial mentorship
  • Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals / business cases
  • Deliver accurate financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic long-range plans
  • Interpretation of and driving action off the back of monthly results, working with our Controllership team who prepare our management accounts
  • Managing risks and opportunities for your business area, ensuring numbers are clearly understood

What You'll Bring

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • A track record of delivery and ambition in your career to date with a desire to develop further.
  • An ability to demonstrate working at pace from within either industry or practice. We work in an agile, fast-moving environment at Sky.
  • Comfort with ambiguity – being able to provide clarity and guide decision making.
  • A strong eye for detail and a deep knowledge of the numbers you are responsible for.
  • Ability to maintain a strong financial control environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience of preparing analysis, delivering insight and turning this into recommendations that benefits your business.
  • Good communication skills through business partnering or client relationship management.

Our Customer Service Group Finance team in Dunfermline plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Sky’s call centres and engineers. With millions of customer interactions each year and thousands of agents across various locations, the team is responsible for balancing efficiency with delivering excellent customer service. Sky is proud of its market-leading customer experience, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve it. In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight that drives performance and ensures cost efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Your Office Base

Dunfermline

Our Dunfermline contact centre has free onsite car parking and is moments from Rosyth train station. You’ll also have use of our subsidised canteen, free tea and coffee, covered bike storage, prayer room and shower facilities as part of the onsite gym.
