Aluminum Window & Door Fabricator

We're looking for an Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator to join our team at Qualplas in St Helens!

Based in St Helens, Merseyside, our Qualplas business has grown to become a leading window & door fabricator of the high specification VEKA uPVC and Smart Systems aluminium profiles and has earned an enviable reputation for customer service. Today, Qualplas’s manufacturing activity is complimented by its major stockist and Distributor status of roofline, rainwater and ancillary products from brands including Brett Martin, Freefoam and Soudal.

Due to current work load demands Qualplas are looking are looking to employ a full-time experienced Fabricator to join their successful and hardworking team. Applicants must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the fabrication of window & door frames, as well as experience with saw and CNC machinery. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, with an additional company bonus scheme.

Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Fabricator with Qualplas:

• All aspects of window/door fabrication (cutting, machining, frame assembly etc)
• Serving our customers politely and professionally
• Unloading and loading vehicles
• Maintaining stock levels through the ordering procedure
• Keeping the workshop clean and tidy
• Ensuring that the workshop is a safe and secure environment
• Completing all necessary paperwork in line with Qualplas procedures
  
  

We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as a Fabricator, however previous experience in using Saw & CNC Machines, as well as frame assembly (commercial entrance, patios, tilt & turn windows and angled frames) and experience with SmartSystems would be an advantage.

As well as this, it would be great for candidates to demonstrate the following:

• Physically fit
• In possession of basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
• Experience and knowledge of operating relevant machinery required in the production of all aluminium and PVCu products.
