Air Conditioning Engineer

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer looking for a dynamic role in a reputable company? Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team and service a high:profile retail contract in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bournemouth and Surrounding Areas

Salary: GBP43,000 per annum

Benefits: Van and Fuel Card Provided, 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, 1 in 7 Call:Out with GBP105 Standby Fee and Overtime Pay, 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of air conditioning systems across multiple retail sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all systems comply with safety and operational standards.
• Respond to emergency call:outs as per the 1 in 7 rota, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and report any significant issues to the management team.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
• F:Gas certification is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
• Excellent problem:solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.
  
  

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM : 4:30 PM.
• Participation in a 1 in 7 call:out rota with a standby fee of GBP105 and additional overtime pay for call:outs.
