Role Overview

Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7

Salary: up to £42,000 + Benefits

Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (1615 finish on Friday) Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work!

What You Will Do

  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works & installations, from minor repairs and servicing to complete air system installation and commissioning.
  • Attend to breakdowns in line with client requirements when they occur, this may involve call-out.
  • Attend site and manufacturers training courses as and when necessary.
  • Provide the highest standard of service or repairs, to build on our already excellent customer relationship.
  • Prepare and submit completed job sheets.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and the customer is key.
  • To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
  • To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop based.
  • To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
  • To Carry out install of new equipment and pipework.
  • To complete job reports correctly and return in a timely manner.
  • If required, to plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules.
  • To maintain test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition.
  • Fault find and parts replacement in electrical controls, control and instrumentation and mechanical systems

About The Role

What you will need:

  • A good knowledge of the compressor industry, be self-motivated and be able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Experience in Mechanical & Electrical fault-finding with the ability to understand electrical & mechanical schematic drawings and diagrams
  • You will have current experience of repairing and servicing: dryers, screw compressors, filtration, reciprocating compressors, pumps etc.
  • A knowledge of PSSR is advantageous
  • HVAC experience or experience with controls and instrumentations is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • The ability to obtain Security Clearance
  • Full UK Driving Licence
