We're looking for passionate, detail-oriented Technical Authors with experience in agriculture and/or plant machinery to join our growing team in Warwick.
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality digital technical publications (workshop manuals and owner manuals) to support our products and users.

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality digital technical publications (workshop manuals and owner manuals) to support our products and users.
Main Responsibilities:
- Gather, collate, and interpret engineering information.
- Communicate with key internal and customer stakeholders.
- Utilise a suite of structured authoring tools and guidelines, interpret technical specifications to create customer-focused publications.
- Utilise CAD data and software tools.
- Author text, simplifying complex systems into structured and understandable content.
- Create concise graphic briefs for Technical Illustrators.
- Manage machine validation workshops in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Proof-read documentation ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards.
- Agricultural / Plant machinery experience.
- Excellent English, both written and spoken.
- High level of technical aptitude.
- Demonstrates a strong general interest in Technology, with a particular focus on AI and coding / scripting capabilities
- Ability to research information required to complete tasks.
- Ability to refine and develop existing processes and work methods.
- Strong communication skills particularly influencing and persuading.
- Capable of managing and prioritising workload and working to tight deadlines.
- Able to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
- Ability to proofread technical documentation.
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Knowledge and experience of how to write and adapt content for specific target groups.
