As a Delivery Manager, you will not only oversee efficient delivery but also coach teams and others involved in agile delivery, helping them grow their skills and improve ways of working.
You will also be responsible for optimising our development processes and ensuring our teams work efficiently and collaboratively.
You’ll be used to working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban, and driving efficiencies within Engineering teams. Coming from a technical background, you’ll know what good code looks like!

What will I be doing?
As a Delivery Manager, you will work to drive software delivery and manage resources effectively, ensuring alignment with company’s objectives and goals. You will oversee product development from inception to delivery while fostering collaboration within and between teams.
Using tools such as Jira and Jellyfish you'll be reviewing team metrics and implementing changes to ensure getting the best from the teams.
You'll also be reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support teams and colleagues involved in agile delivery to build skills and improve ways of working
- Review team metrics and identify areas of improvements. Ensure that changes are documented and implemented effectively
- Promote agile best practises to ensure team health
- Look at ways to improve overall delivery
- Use retros to gather feedback and identify areas of improvements in future
- Report to stakeholders updates on team health, outcomes from retros, and project updates
- Ensure that changes are documented and implemented effectively
- Own end-to-end software delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and controlled.
- Manage, mentor, and build high-performing teams dedicated to delivering excellent products.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to define project scope and align it with business objectives.
- Maintain transparency and communication regarding project status, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines.
Knowledge and Experience
- Prior experience in a technical / digital delivery management or similar position in a technology business, within Agile environments such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience coaching teams and supporting agile delivery roles to improve performance and ways of working.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders.
- You will need to come from a digital / technical background in a similar role.
