Band 6 Advanced Theatre Practitioner - Ophthalmology

We are currently looking for an Advanced Theatre Practitioner who would be keen to join our Ophthalmic theatre team.
In order to provide the best possible care and outcomes for the patients in our care, we want to attract, train and provide ongoing support to the right people - people who can join our existing teams of skilled professionals and who are committed to making a positive difference to our patients.
In theatres we provide a supportive learning environment, where all staff are encouraged and supported to further develop using the educational and experiential learning opportunities available depending on your chosen career path.
To help coordinate the skilled care of patients within the theatre specialty; demonstrating expertise in all aspects of the care of patients.
As required, to provide direct support to clinicians and patients.
To contribute to the management of the specialty by acting as a professional role model; able to confidently lead a team.
Reading sits on the river Thames and is served by great road and rail links to London, Oxford and Southampton. With excellent leisure and shopping facilities, and a thriving cultural scene, Reading is a wonderful place to live, work and play and provides excellent facilities for families, including some of the best state and private schools in the UK.
