Duties And Key Responsibilities

- The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently manage order fulfilment processes to ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee the coordination of shipments, both domestically within the UK and internationally.
- Route planning for our internal van delivery team (maternity cover).
- Collaborate seamlessly with logistics and other supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Receiving and processing Goods Returns Notes for damaged and faulty products.
- Liaising internally and externally regarding stock enquiries
- Dealing with queries from customers about delivery dates and liaising with our distribution partners to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
- Raising, checking and processing purchase orders into Microsoft Dynamics Nav and ensuring that all files and paperwork are promptly and accurately created and actioned.
- Raising and processing sales invoices for Special Orders and Drop Shipments
- Receiving delivery schedules from our key suppliers and ensuring this data is entered correctly into our computer system to ensure that accurate stock information is available.
- Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Logistics Manager or any other person designated in their absence.
- The role will evolve once maternity cover has ended.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Some previous experience of an import / export role would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Must be IT Literate and have gained experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Our main system for order entry is Microsoft Navision and fill training will be given on this system
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, can-do, positive attitude
- Driven and willing to learn
- Outgoing, confident team player
- Able to work autonomously and use your initiative
- Enthusiastic and hardworking
